The Ukrainian Football Federation (UFF) commitment to fighting fixed matches was confirmed by news about adding a new expert to the committee. Another Italian football player (3rd one) joined the team of professionals.
The new member is a former Italian national team player, 1982 world champion, Claudio Gentile. He joined his colleagues and fellow citizens Benito Carbone and Simone Farina who are also on this committee. Besides football players, another Italian expert is Ciro Angelillis, Attorney General at the Cassation Court of Rome.
Ivan Shevchenko, who previously held the post of deputy prosecutor of Cherkasy region, will coordinate the work of the committee for fixed football matches exposure. The first expert meeting is planned for the near future. It will be held in the UFF headquarters, House of Football in Kyiv.
